Build the contact list that Lead Generator, the Agent and Propstreet Network all read from.

Adding contacts

Click Network in the left menu and then the New contact button. Fill in the contact details in the form that opens.

Available fields:

Searching the network

Exact search

Click the search icon next to the search field and select Exact search. Type a name, company or other keyword and press Enter. Exact search matches exactly what you type — great when you know precisely what you are looking for.

AI search

Select AI-powered search instead and describe what you are looking for in free text, e.g. "investors interested in office in Stockholm". The AI interprets your search and finds relevant matches based on all available data.

Companies and contacts

Click a company or contact in the network list to open the detail panel. Here you can see all information gathered in one place.

For contacts you will see: contact details (phone, email), company and role, active cases linked to the contact, and a timeline with all activities and interactions.

For companies you will see: company details, investment strategy, all linked contacts and timeline.

Switch between the Companies and Contacts tabs at the top to change the view. Click the Edit button (visible on both companies and contacts) to edit information — you can update contact details, company name, role and other fields.

Investment strategies

Each company in your network can have an investment strategy that describes what types of investments they are looking for. Open a company and scroll down to the Investment strategy section, then click Edit.

Fill in information about what type of properties they are looking for (office, logistics, residential etc.), geographic focus (cities, regions, countries) and investment capacity.

Investment strategies are the foundation for Lead Generator. The more detailed strategies you record, the better matches you will get when searching for investors for a case.

Tags

Tags help you organize and filter your contacts and companies. You can tag multiple records at once: select the contacts or companies you want to tag, click the tag icon in the toolbar, and type a new tag or select an existing one.

When you tag multiple records that already have different tags, you will see the status Applied (all have the tag) or Partial (only some have the tag). You can remove a tag by clicking it again.

To filter by tags, click the filter icon in the toolbar and select one or more tags. All contacts or companies matching the selected tags will be displayed.

Tip — pick a tag style and stick to it. Asset classes (Logistics, Office, Residential), regions (Nordics, DACH, Benelux) and relationship tags (VIP, Quiet) are the three families most teams settle on. Mixing logistics/Logistics/LOGISTICS will fragment your filter dropdown within a quarter.

Notes and news

Every contact and company has a timeline where all activities are logged. Open a contact or company and scroll to the timeline.

Type your note in the text field and click Save. Notes are visible to your entire team and are logged with date and author.

Under the Data Enrichment section on a company, there is a toggle for news monitoring. Turn it on and Propstreet will search daily for news about the company and automatically save them as notes in the timeline.

Export data

You can export data from two places in Propstreet:

From the prospect list

In a case you can select the prospects you want to export, click the Export button and choose CSV format. The export includes contact details and prospect status.

From the network

In the network view you can click the menu (...) and select Export all to download your entire network as a CSV file.

Summary

Your network is the team's shared asset, and every other feature in Propstreet reads from it. A contact with no company, no strategy and no tags isn't a contact yet — they're a lead.
